Hours & pay tracking for iPhone
Last updated 25 July 2026
Punchcard keeps everything on your phone. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server. Your hours, pay rates, and job names are never sent anywhere.
The jobs you create, the hours you log, your pay rates and overtime rules, and your app settings. All of it is saved in a file inside the app on your device.
Nowhere. The app makes no network connections. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code that reports on how you use it.
Because your data lives in the app's own storage, it is included in your iPhone backups — iCloud or a computer, whichever you use. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and settings, not by us. If you restore a new phone from a backup, your entries come back with it.
Choosing "Export as CSV" creates a file and hands it to the iOS share sheet. It only goes where you send it. If you email it or save it to a cloud service, that service's own privacy terms apply from that point on.
The home-screen widget reads your current totals from shared storage on the device. That data does not leave the phone either.
"Reset all data" in Settings erases your jobs and entries. Deleting the app removes everything it stored. Note that a backup taken before you deleted may still contain the older data — that's controlled through your iPhone's backup settings.
The app collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here and the date above will change.
